Social Justice continues to come forth among our students. We are grateful for the coin collection that Madame Ferrari’s class did to help Haiti with a total of $1500 raised! Our leadership students and staff have had trips out to feed the homeless breakfast! Ms. Larose’s class supported the Christmas Shoebox Program.
The Adopt a Village Campaign to build a school, water well, and health center has received donations due to the efforts of the following: Mr. Reid and Mrs. Clarke created a Latte Café for staff during the month of December with a total of $500 in this project. It was great coffee and goodies! Madame Ferrari’s grade 7 class raised $400 with a cake auction. Bravo! What a creative display of cakes! An Anonymous donation from a student and their family was made toward this school project. What generosity!
Social Justice will be sponsoring two events - a Crush for a Crush for Valentines Day and Hawaii Day on February 23. We as a school community are grateful for the efforts and support that is given to those who live without on this planet.
